The new air conditioner is installed! It really was a (mostly) painless process. Western Heating and Air took care of us from start to finish! They have been servicing our old unit for the past ten years, cautioning us every year that we were on borrowed time with our air conditioner. Irony of ironies that it lasted until we accepted an offer on our house.
Oh well, a brand new unit for the brand new owners!
