In all of this chaos we tried to get the engine A/C fixed. Travis called out a mobile tech to diagnose the problem. We were told that the compressor was bad. (160 dollar cost just for his visit)
Travis decided to get the coolant evacuated and change the compressor himself. We went down Saturday morning to Mobile 1 Lube Express. We could get an oil change at the same time as they took care of the coolant.
Hmmmm, Mobil 1 was so good to us!!! Our compressor is NOT bad! We have no coolant in the system so the compressor doesn’t turn on! And the connection to the compressor is loose so Travis plans on replacing that.
The point I want to stress is that our compressor was not bad!!! Mobile 1 Lube Express was awesome!!!
