Escaping or resting

We were so exhausted it was hard to be excited about camping but load up both rigs, our utility trailer, both kids and 4 dogs we did. A little information here may help. Yes, our kids still live with us. Our daughter Amber is moving into her own place in July and our son Angus is only 15, so on the road he goes. We are looking for a place to park/dwell during school months that is more rural than Boise, Id. One of the benefits of this technology age is staying in communication with people you know! (or online school if we are still looking)

Back to camping! We drove 2 hours away to a place outside of the Baumgartner Campground. For those who do not know, Baumgardner is a campground outside of Featherville, Id which has a natural hot spring pool. With 4 dogs we like to NOT camp inside pay sites. It is so much easier for us to choose the boonies.

It would be more interesting to be able say we “did” a whole bunch, but the truth is we basically ate, slept, and repeat. Yes, it was beautiful and the sound of the creek is so relaxing, that we barely drove into the campground to use the hot pool twice! We did wake up to snow Saturday morning. So Beautiful!!! By this time the kids wanted connection/tech so we packed up and stayed our last night in Featherville. While not our favorite mattress, the room was huge with 2 queens, a sleeper couch, table and chairs, big screen TV(most important to the kids), microwave and refrigerator. Big plus was they allowed pets!
