It has been a week since we returned from our camping/escaping trip. With the market like it is here in Boise, Id we were prepped to expect an offer on our house when we got home. No offers for our house were waiting. After talking to Christina (realtor) we decided to let things remain the same. It seems we were not the only ones to decide now was the time to sell and we were 1 of 40+ houses in our price range that went on the market that weekend while we were camping. Here is a perfect example of things not going to plan.
This week has been spent living in a fish bowl (no window treatments) and loading up dogs to leave 2-4 times a day, so the house can be shown. Making sure we dont leave dishes out or the kids make their beds while frustrating at first it is helping us “help” the kids to be cleaner! Is that the “silver” lining? Living this way too long will get very old! We are very much “project” people and getting very antsy to “do” something! We are having to find things (besides tech) that do not make a mess and can handle 4 dogs. Playing with the pooches seem to be a big one. Craziness indeed!
